Designed, built, and proven as a homegrown tool, SNSR was created in 2020 after bpx energy engineers identified an internal gap necessitating a methane monitoring solution unavailable on the open market. The result? A solution engineered by operators for operators that delivers real‑world reliability, accuracy, and long‑term value.
In 2025, Conifer Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Archaea Energy, assumed responsibility for SNSR’s operations and commercialization, enabling the technology to expand beyond a single operator and serve a broader market.
Today, SNSR carries forward that same purpose-driven foundation: delivering dependable methane monitoring that performs where it matters most.
